About the Owner — Garret McGahan

Garret’s journey began with a push mower and a commitment to quality. Today, he leads Garret's Lawn Service with the same passion and attention to detail that inspired its creation. Under his leadership, the company has grown to serve communities across Omaha with exceptional landscaping, hardscaping, and property maintenance.

From The Owner, Garret McGahan:


"I started this company as a young boy walking around my neighborhood, mowing lawns for neighbors with a push mower. Determined to expand, I built a trailer for my bike and biked around to take on more clients. When I was in middle school, life brought a significant challenge—my mother was diagnosed with cancer. While this was a difficult time for our family, her recovery inspired us all to work together and support one another. This experience drove me to grow the business into something more substantial, something that could truly make a difference for my family and others.


By the time I was 16, I was using my mom’s minivan to take on jobs beyond the neighborhood, and with the encouragement of my family, I bought my first truck to continue expanding. By my senior year of high school, Garret’s Lawn Service had a small team of employees and was performing advanced landscaping services. With hard work and dedication, the company has grown year by year into what it is today—a respected, full-service landscaping provider with a reputation for extraordinary service."
